Ibrahim’s Eating House:

It’s this awesome place in Maradana that serves delicious halal Sri Lankan food. They’re famous for their Kidu rice, which is basically a giant banana leaf filled with all this tasty stuff – fluffy rice, super flavorful curries, fresh veggies, and sometimes even meat. It’s like a party in your mouth!

The place itself is pretty casual, and it gets packed at lunch because everyone knows how delicious it is. But the staff is super chill and friendly, and the prices won’t hurt your wallet. Plus, they have this cool upstairs area with AC if you want to escape the heat (although it might not always be open).

Seriously, Ibrahim Eating House is perfect for a quick lunch break, grabbing some food to take, or just chilling out with the family.

Fazly’s Halal Refreshment serves all sorts of delicious food, from burgers and fries to shawarma (like a meat wrap). It’s more of a casual, family-friendly spot, so don’t expect fancy decorations.

Their chicken shawarma seems to be a crowd-pleaser, and I hear their cordon bleu burger with white sauce is amazing too! Just a heads up, they only take cash, and parking can be tricky during the day. But hey, if you’re looking for a quick and tasty halal bite, Fazly’s is worth checking out!
